Hi! I'm Royce, visual artist, naturalist, and educator from Chicagoland.

I draw much of my inspiration from early 20th Century art movements aimed at shattering the illusion of American comfort. I am a fan of non-linear storytelling, Surrealism, and Absurdism, and I seek to push invisible boundaries everywhere in order to send my messages, which typically stem from each joy and each mild-to-severe discomfort that comes with being a human being.

I've been drawing with graphite my entire life, and over the years I've discovered a passion for comics, beadwork, graphic design, ceramics, pastels, cake decorating, and more. I'm always willing and excited to learn as many new artistic mediums as I can access.
