Prices are subject to change based on difficulty, complexity, and time constraints of a commission. I will work together with every individual client to reach a firm price.
I mail non-digital pieces; shipping is added to the final cost of the piece.

DOODLES
"Doodles" are fairly small, simplistic, unrefined line art with some rough shading and optional text. Pretty much anything is a possible subject for doodles, including short comic strips and portraits.

PAYMENT
Payment is accepted in either in 50/50 format (half of the agreed price paid
up-front, second half paid once commission is completed, for those with financial difficulties) or 100% up-front. Paypal, checks, and cash (depending on where you live in proximity to Chicago) are accepted. Art trades are a possibility. I will ship out of the country as long as payment is in USD.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
I reserve the right to refuse the business of any commissioner. This may be based on requested subject matter, unwillingness or inability to pay for services rendered, unreasonable numbers of changes to a design or prolonged ambivalence over a design, unconditionally "open-ended" commissions, or unreasonably rapid deadlines. I reserve the right to charge more for the inconvenience of immediate deadlines.

If you have visual references that you wish to provide, I will absolutely accept them. I encourage them!

Do you want to commission me, but are unsure of what you want to see? Try brainstorming with subjects such as people you admire (or dislike), your favorite fictional characters, animals, robots, birds, rabbits, maybe a weird obsession you have: these are things that I enjoy drawing and
are a great place to start if you want a lovely image. -
I enjoy artistic freedom, but open-ended commissions such as "it's totally up to you!" will not be accepted. Your artwork will turn out much better if you give me a clear idea of what you want to see happen before your very eyes.
